Delivery

Opening a page sends the server your IP address, the time, the address you requested, and the browser string your device sends. The site needs that to return the page and to keep it available. The legal basis is legitimate interest in operating the site, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Those logs are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the site.

Remembered sets

The site stores a cookie named binary-sets on your device. It records which set positions were shown, so a later visit can continue that view. It expires after 30 days. It is not an account, and it is not used for advertising. The legal basis is legitimate interest in keeping that view coherent, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can delete the cookie in your browser.

Sets

A set still is loaded from YouTube (i.ytimg.com or img.youtube.com). Your browser sends your IP address to Google with that image. Playback starts only after you press Play. The player then loads from youtube-nocookie.com. Google may process that data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. The legal basis is legitimate interest in showing the set you opened, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Pressing Play is the step that starts the player.

Tickets

An event that has a shop loads the ticket widget from binarycollective.de. A purchase is entered and stored in that shop, not on this website. The shop receives what you submit there, including your name, email, and payment. The legal basis for loading the widget is legitimate interest in offering the tickets for that event, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The purchase itself is processed by that shop under Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Mail and phone

If you write to hello@binary.management or call +49 201 85890-115, the message is used to answer you. The legal basis is your request, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Correspondence is kept for as long as the matter needs it, and longer when company or tax law requires a record.

What this site does not do

There is no account, no analytics, and no advertising cookie. The type on the page is delivered with the site.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your data, and you can object to processing that rests on legitimate interest. Send the request to hello@binary.management.
